Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is Krav Maga?
The original traditional Krav Maga is a defense system developed specifically or the Israeli military & their special forces (Commando’s). It focuses on rapid threat neutralization using real-world application. Multiple civilian variants have been developed over the decades.
–
Krav Maga is not a sport, unlike commercial martial arts such as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Karate, Taekwondo and the like, which are all amazing sports, they are however only that, sports, geared toward tournaments and not violent street survival. There are no weight classes, rule books, sportsmanship or referees on the street.
2. What is Next Generation Proprietary Krav Maga?
Rooted in CKM, the world-leading Krav Maga discipline, and made even more incredible by the strategic integration of elite Krav Maga systems, our training stands as one of the most complete, practical, and combat-proven fighting and self-defense systems available anywhere.
–
Additionally, it is grounded in time-tested principles and a deep understanding of physics, body mechanics, and legal realities, reinforced by expert Krav Maga / Muay-Thai based combative striking engineered for maximum effect.
Everything we teach is engineered to maximize your power without requiring you to be stronger
than your attacker. Combined with our amazing techniques, this approach places our training
generations ahead of virtually every other discipline in the world.
3. Do I need prior experience to start training?
No experience is necessary. Our programs are structured to accommodate beginners through advanced students.
In many cases, having no prior experience can actually be an advantage. It often means fewer bad habits to unlearn.
4. What makes your training different?
Real-world self-defense: We assume everything is stacked against you. We make 4 important assumptions, which include your attacker is: 1) Faster Than You, 2) Stronger Than You, 3) Is Well Armed and 4) Has accomplices.
Mental resilience development: The ability to see the signal through the noise is critical. Many modern humans have lost the Fight or Flight instinct and instead will Freeze. Stress inoculations is a critical part of defense training.
Tactical conditioning: We prepare you to perform while exhausted and deep in the “fog of war.”
Scenario-based training: The most effective way to prepare the human mind for real conflict.
High-intensity functional fitness: Fighting for your life is exhausting — we ensure your body is prepared.
5. What is THERIO Fitness?
THERIO (Greek for “beast”) is our tiered tactical fitness system developed under the Be Formidable philosophy.
It combines strength training, HIIT, combat conditioning, and mental toughness development,
all while building skill and having fun.

Level 0 – Foundation: Ignite your journey. Build strength, establish discipline, and create the momentum that transforms intention into measurable progress.
Level 1 – Development: Momentum becomes power. Sharpen your striking skills, elevate your conditioning, and begin performing at a higher standard.
Level 2 – Performance: Consistency turns into capability. Your dedication becomes a lifestyle as your fitness, confidence, and technical skill rise to advanced levels.
Level 3 – Advanced: Challenging yourself and inspiring others is the norm. Precision striking, superior conditioning, and mental resilience define who you are at this stage.
Level 4 – Elite: Mastery realized. You embody strength, control, and relentless performance, where excellence is the standard and limits no longer define you.

14. How is this different from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ)?
Sport-based grappling systems do not account for real-world variables such as multiple attackers,
